I'll admit it, I'm visually inspired.<br /><br />A bad cover can turn off potential readers, even if what's on the inside is stellar. However, a professional cover will make your book stand out among the 400,000+ books published every year.<br /><br />If you've been traditionally published and want to relaunch your backlist, or if you're jumping into self-publishing with both feet, I'd like to help you. No matter where you are in your journey, everyone gets the same consideration and attention to detail.<br /><br />To get started, contact me at editorcassandra@gmail.com and I'll get back to you with a list of things to tell me about your project. This will include things like your timeline, the dimensions needed, your genre, the general tone of your book, your preferences for style, mood, font, and colors, etc. The more I have to work with, the better.<br /><br />I'll continue to work with you until we get the cover to your satisfaction. To start, I'll send you a mock up with a watermark and when it's exactly right I'll invoice you via Paypal (or personal check) at the rates below. I will then remove the watermark and send a high quality version.<br /><br />The cover can be delivered to you in various dpi (72 or 300) and formats (psd, jpg, gif, png, tif, pdf) for uploading to your website, Amazon, Smashwords, or even print. Once you buy a cover from me, you own all the rights to the image, and can do whatever you'd like with it.<br /><br />Covers can be used for all ebook formats, i.e. Kindle, PubIt, Smashwords, etc, and can be web-ready for use on blogs/websites and as Facebook/Twitter avatars. I can even create matching or original blog headers and buttons. I do not format the ebooks themselves, I just do covers (for now.)<br /><br />Prices:<br /><br />Quickie Cover — front only, 1-2 stock photos, 1-2 drafts: $100<br />Standard Cover — front only, 3-5 stock photos, 3-5 drafts: $150<br />Premium Cover — front only, 6-10 stock photos, 6-10 drafts: $200 (if the number of stock photos and drafts exceed the max, the rate rises at $25 with each additional photo or draft.)<br /><br />I can work with your packager to create a matching spine or back cover. I do not offer those as part of a package at this time.<br /><br />Stock photos must come from http://www.thinkstockphotos.com; if you require imagery from elsewhere, the cost of that imagery will be added to the rate.
